Dr. Jason Young, DC, MSHNFM
Chiropractic PhysicianOur Values & Beliefs
We believe that health is contagious. It is easy to find groups of health people anywhere you look. So we strive to practice what we preach so that we can be healthy together.
I believe in self efficacy which, in the context of your health, is the idea that YOU have the power to make the greatest difference in your well being. My job as your doctor is to help you to realize your health goals through treatment and providing you with the knowledge and tools to accomplish them.
I believe that patients deserve care that is based on the prevailing scientific evidence and the benefit of my years of clinical experience. I also believe that patients deserve a realistic expectation of outcomes so that they can be a full participant in their healing process.
I believe in the power of positivity. Nobody ever got better by being negative. I also believe that while we should take your health seriously, we should never take ourselves too seriously.
My Chiropractic Story
I have literally been a chiropractic patient all of my life. My mom, Beverly, took me for my first chiropractic adjustment when I was just 2 days old. Since that time, I’ve enjoyed the benefits of chiropractic care to help me recover from injuries and maintain my health.
I didn’t always set out to be a chiropractor, however. I was a business student at Oregon State University when I got the idea. As I studied, I knew that I wanted to be a business owner and entrepreneur. The only problem was that I needed to find a type of business that I believed in. I felt like I could be successful but I wanted more than just financial success. I wanted to know at the end of each day that I had made a positive difference in people’s lives. As I searched for the perfect opportunity to do this, I thought that it would probably be pretty easy to become a chiropractor and this is a career that could satisfy my goal. I was wrong. Well, I was wrong about it being easy. I was right about the rest of it though.
Becoming a chiropractor took years of hard work, study and sacrifice. In 2008, I realized my dream and opened Body of Health Chiropractic & Wellness Center and since that time I have been fulfilling my purpose on a daily basis, to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Dr. Glasmann has been a chiropractor at Body of Health Chiropractic & Wellness Center since 2021. Through all of this he has been supported by his loving wife and a growing family of 4 kids. When not at work you will find him spending time with them. Growing up in the Corvallis area, he is a huge Oregon State Beavers fan and makes it to as many games as his busy schedule allows.
