The process consists of 7 parts.
- We will sit down and discuss your goals and what you want to accomplish through nutrition. I want to know what motivates you to change, your attitudes about food and the kinds of foods you do and don’t like to eat.
- I customize a plan to suit your needs taking into account your personal health history and the information collected during our initial consultation. This will be YOUR plan, developed to accomplish your goals.
- We meet and discuss the plan. I will help you develop strategies to implement the plan. I will develop a customized shopping list and resources for recipes. We will establish a plan for communication and support for when you start the plan.
- There is a preparation period where you can store away or get rid of foods that are not part of your plan. It is also a time to surround yourself with the foods and other tools to make yourself successful. This is one week before you actually begin.
- We meet the day before you begin to answer any questions and review your plans for success. We review the communication and support plan.
- During the next few weeks I will support you via text message, email, phone calls, live visits or however you need. I will be there to support you every step of the way.
- At the end of the plan period we will meet to discuss how you have changed, what you have learned, where you are with your goals and what comes next. I will give you strategies to have long term success in this lifestyle change.
